It was the final voyage for the geriatric ship, Madeline's Song and all those on board were dancing with abandon. Stan had thought an old timers holiday cruise for a retiering ship sounded lame, but Helen insisted. Now, feeling a long forgotten stirring, he thought it possible he might have sex later. There was something magical about the night. No one on board noticed the approaching, craggy shore.
The Siren continued to sing, clouding the minds of all those on the ship. If they continued their course, they would soon come aground. She and her sisters would feast well tonight.
